Interior Designer Jamie Beckwith's Pool House Is A Lesson In Luxury

Pool houses tend to be modest structures — small buildings used for changing into a swimsuit or stashing pool gear. But interior decorator Jamie Beckwith had something very different in mind for her waterside digs.

For starters, Beckwith's new pool house is three floors, featuring several exquisitely designed spaces, that integrate products from her own collection and luxurious flourishes like a stunning walnut tub in one of the women's bath. (Yes, this pool house is equipped with separate baths for men and women. But don't worry, the main floor's steamroom is open to all guests.)

On the main floor guests will find a kitchen with two fridges, a living room and a dining room, a well as a a formal sitting area with a glass floor that looks down onto a wine-lovers' paradise below.

Clear, acrylic Gothic-style arches fill the wine cellar and provide space for approximately 2,000 bottles of red, white, rose and champagne. The arches are lit by color-changing LED lights, which can be turned off when entertaining wraps up. And if the temperature controlled wine storage isn't suitable, there's a tasting area just outside of the cellar where guests can enjoy their beverages.

The top floor of Beckwith's pool house houses a private guest apartment equipped with its own kitchen, living area and full bath.
